Art attracts people from ancient times. Cave painting is a bright illustration of the first attempts to convey the reality, to tell about the “magic of hunting” and the existence of the Paleolithic era. Eventually, the painting began to express the protest, to convey the author’s feelings, to draw attention to world problems, to excite and shock.

In the modern world, people continue to decorate their apartments with paintings and are searching for the original paintings.

“My name is Oleksandr Shepenkov. I was born in 1962 in Cherkasy. In 1986-1991 I studied at the Lviv Art Institute (Academy). To date, I continue to work as a teacher of painting at the Cherkasy State Technologycal University in the Department of Design.

During my creative career I had participated in numerous Ukrainian and International exhibitions in Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Austria. My paintings are in many private collections.
